Privacy policy

Who we are

Human Greetings is run by HumanGreetings. Contact: support@humangreetings.com.

What we collect

When you make a share link, we store your letter, sender name, design choices, and photo if added. Accounts are optional. When you create an account, we store your name, email, securely hashed password, and session information so you can manage saved cards. Standard technical logs and hashed request identifiers help secure the service. We do not configure analytics or payments.

Before you make a link

While you design in the studio, your photo stays in your browser. It's only uploaded when you make a share link.

Through ChatGPT

If you use Human Greetings in ChatGPT, ChatGPT sends us the details of the card you asked for (letter, sender name, design choices, and any photo you attached or linked to). OpenAI's handling of your conversation is covered by OpenAI's privacy policy.

Why we use it

Only to make your card, show it to anyone you share the link with, and keep the service secure.

Who can see it

Anyone who has the card's link can view the card, including its letter and photo. Links are hard to guess but not password-protected, so only share them with people you'd show the card to. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. We use Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, and Cloudflare R2 for photos to host the service.

How long we keep it

Cards and photos are retained until you delete them or request removal. You can ask us to delete a card at any time by emailing its link to support@humangreetings.com.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete a card, or ask what we hold about a card you made. Contact support@humangreetings.com.

Children

Human Greetings isn't directed at children under 13.
